CLEARWATER, Fla. – Jan. 04, 2017 – Empath Health is bringing the fanciful world of Alice in Wonderland to life with its “Through the Looking Glass” 16th Annual Suncoast Hospice Ball. The enchanted evening begins at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, and takes place at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, located at 501 5th Ave NE in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Guests will peer through the looking glass to a backwards world filled with live music, dancing, food, auctions and more. Every dollar raised from the celebration supports the mission of Empath Health, a nonprofit committed to caring for our most vulnerable citizens living with chronic or advanced illnesses. Event entry, auction proceeds and more will support programs such as hospice care, home health, HIV care and palliative care. The annual ball has raised more than $3.8 million since it began in 2001.
“The annual Suncoast Hospice Ball is something we look forward to every year and it continues to be a major success and inspiration to our team and community,” says Rafael Sciullo, president and CEO of Empath Health. “The celebration raises funds that have a critical impact on so many lives, and it’s wonderful to see the community come together to make this important difference for those who truly need and appreciate it,” he added.
Tickets are $300 per person. Sponsorship levels begin at $800, and table sponsorships start at $4,000. All proceeds support Empath Health and its integrated network of care.
