Every so often, the world is blessed with someone who possesses the strength of character, the unshakable determination, and clarity of vision to move us forward in our pursuit of a more just and peaceful world. Today, we celebrate such a person as we honor and remember the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
His words, always so passionately and eloquently expressed, still inspire millions of people today. Words like, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others?” King, himself, worked tirelessly for the cause of civil rights and for the greater good.
Our work at Empath Health provides us with an opportunity to do important work in the service of others. We are honored to serve our community. We recognize and embrace this precious opportunity and strive to emulate Dr. King’s devotion to service.
