Please allow me to share some exciting news with you. Suncoast Hospice and its family of programs have created Empath Health, an integrated network of care. Let me reassure you Suncoast Hospice will remain and its name will not change.
Like Suncoast Hospice, Empath Health is a not-for-profit organization.
As Empath Health, we are better prepared to meet the needs of those challenged by chronic or advanced illness. In addition to hospice care, we offer palliative home health and physician services, independent living assistance and day care for seniors, HIV services, advance care planning and new programs in development.
The network name was chosen after much careful thought. Empathy reflects concern and understanding for others. Our name says we walk with you while anticipating and meeting your needs with expertise, support and compassion.
