So often we are pulled in by the search for new information. What is the latest approach for raising children? The new diet fad? The seven things to do to make sure that we are happy in our lives? Don’t get me wrong – the thirst for knowledge is a good thing. It keeps us expanding our horizons and seeing things in new ways.
The truth is, however, that often-times we already know everything we need to know. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “I have nothing new to teach the world. Truth and non-violence are as old as the hills. All I have done is to try experiments in both on as vast a scale as I could.”
This week, may we listen to the wisdom in our souls and trust it enough to step out on faith and put it into practice.
Have a wonderful week, everyone!
